By creating an account or using the MonteGO Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. To operate the MonteGO Platform, ensure safety, and meet our legal obligations, we collect the following types of personal data from our MonteGO Users (those requesting services) and our MonteGO Service Providers (those providing services).

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for specific purposes, always based on a legal ground:
- To Provide Our Services: Connecting MonteGO Users with independent MonteGO Service Providers for transportation and transfer services through the MonteGO Platform. (Legal Basis: Performance of our contract with you).
- For Safety and Security: Using location data, ratings, and verifying Service Provider documents. (Legal Basis: Our legitimate interest and legal obligations).
- To Improve Our Platform: Analyzing usage data to enhance user experience. (Legal Basis: Our legitimate interest).
- For Customer Support: Investigating and resolving your questions or issues. (Legal Basis: Performance of our contract and our legitimate interest).

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it in the following necessary situations:
- Between MonteGO Users and Service Providers: To facilitate a service, we share necessary information between the parties (e.g., name, photo, rating, location, and vehicle details).
- With Our Third-Party Partners: We work with trusted companies for services like payment processing, cloud hosting, and data analytics. They are contractually bound to protect your data.
- With Legal Authorities: If required by law, a court order, or a valid governmental request.
- During a Business Transaction: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the new entity.
5. AI-Assisted Support
When you contact MonteGO support through the in-app chat, your messages may be answered by an AI assistant as well as by our human support team. To generate helpful and accurate responses, your chat messages and relevant account and service information (such as your name, recent trips, fares, and account status) may be processed by third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf, currently Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI. These providers process this data solely to generate responses for us and, under the terms of their business APIs, do not use it to train their models.
You can always request a human agent in the chat, and our team reviews support conversations where needed to ensure service quality.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as otherwise necessary to provide our services. If you delete your account, we may retain certain information for as long as reasonably necessary to comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud, and protect the security and integrity of the MonteGO Platform. Personal data that is no longer required for these purposes will be securely deleted, anonymized, or otherwise irreversibly de-identified in accordance with applicable laws.
