1. Purpose and Scope

  • This Document Verification Policy ("Policy") explains our procedures regarding the management of legal documents for all independent MonteGO Service Providers ("Service Providers") offering services on the MonteGO platform. This Policy is designed to support the safety, reliability, and legal compliance of our platform and is an integral part of the "MonteGO Digital Platform Service Provider Agreement."

2. Declaration Basis and Service Provider's Responsibility

  • 2.1. The MonteGO platform operates on a declaration basis. By uploading their legal documents (e.g., driver's license, vehicle registration, business/transport license for taxi/limo/, insurance policy) to the MonteGO Driver Application, the Service Provider warrants and guarantees that these documents are entirely accurate, belong to them, are current, valid, and in full compliance with the laws of Montenegro.
  • 2.2. It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Service Provider to maintain the validity of these documents, renew them before expiration, and immediately update the information on the platform in case of any changes.

3. MonteGO's Limited Role

  • 3.1. MonteGO is not a state regulatory body, a notary, or an official verification authority. Therefore, we do not have the legal authority or technical capability to certify the authenticity or legal validity of submitted documents with absolute certainty.
  • 3.2. MonteGO's role is to accept these declarations in good faith to provide a technological intermediation service. Our document review process is a preliminary check for completeness and obvious inconsistencies, but it does not constitute a guarantee of the documents' accuracy or legal validity.

4. Zero-Tolerance Policy Against Fraud

To protect the integrity of the platform and the safety of MonteGO Users, we enforce a zero-tolerance policy against document fraud and misleading information.

  • 4.1. If a complaint is received, a user report is filed, or our internal systems detect a suspicious situation suggesting that any document is fraudulent, stolen, expired, altered, or irregular, MonteGO will treat the matter with the utmost seriousness.
  • 4.2. Upon determination of a violation, MonteGO reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to take one or more of the following actions: * Immediately and permanently terminate the respective Service Provider's access to the platform. * Formally report the situation to the relevant legal authorities in Montenegro (e.g., police, ministry of transport, tax authorities). * Initiate legal action for damages incurred by the Company or third parties.

This policy is designed to ensure that only honest, professional, and law-abiding Service Providers operate on our platform.
