Tivat Airport to Prčanj, Muo and Stoliv by taxi
The western shore of the inner bay, from Muo just outside Kotor through Prčanj to Stoliv, is the quiet side: stone villages, a few hotels including the Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay, and a single narrow road along the water. Coming from Tivat Airport it is reached through the tunnel and then left along the shore. Here is how the ride works.

How do I get from Tivat Airport to Prčanj or the Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay?
Book a MonteGO taxi with Tivat Airport as pickup and your hotel or village address as destination. The licensed driver meets you at arrivals, takes the Vrmac tunnel, turns onto the western shore road past Muo and drops you at the Hyatt, your village house or the Prčanj waterfront. Pay the driver directly at the end.

- Driver, car and plate shown before you leave the terminal

How to book this ride
Book at the belt
Pickup Tivat Airport; destination the Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay, your Prčanj or Muo house name, or Put II Dalmatinske Brigade plus a landmark.
Meet the car outside arrivals
The app shows the car and plate; the pickup area is right at the terminal exit.
Tunnel, then left along the water
Through the Vrmac tunnel, then the quiet shore road along Muo and Prčanj to your door. Pay the driver on arrival.
Pickup at Tivat Airport
Tivat's single terminal makes the pickup easy: the taxi area is directly outside arrivals and the app tells you the car, its colour and the plate as soon as the driver accepts. Terminal Wi-Fi is enough to book. Because the western shore villages use house names more than numbers, put your host's name or the hotel name into the booking; drivers who work the bay know most of them.
The road to the western shore
From the airport the taxi climbs to the Vrmac tunnel and comes out above Kotor. Rather than dropping to the Old Town, it turns onto the road that follows the western edge of the bay: first Muo, the fishing village facing Kotor across the water, then Prčanj with its huge church and captains' houses, then Stoliv towards the Verige strait. It is one narrow road, hugging the water with stone houses on the land side, and in summer it is slow because there is nowhere to pass.
The Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay sits on this shore in Prčanj with its own entrance off the road; the driver pulls in at the hotel forecourt. For village houses the taxi stops at the road and the last few metres are on foot, sometimes up a short flight of stone steps.
Where taxis stop in Muo, Prčanj and Stoliv
From MonteGO rides on this shore:
Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort
The main hotel on the western shore, with a forecourt off the shore road. Give the name and the driver takes you to the door.
Prčanj waterfront and the church
The village centre around the great church of the Nativity, with apartments in the surrounding stone houses. The taxi stops on the road; the walk is seconds.
Put II Dalmatinske Brigade
The shore road's official name. If your host's house has no name you can find, the road plus a landmark, the church, a restaurant, a jetty, is enough.
Muo
The first village after the tunnel road, directly across from Kotor's walls. Taxis drop you at the road; some houses are reached by steps down to the water.
Stoliv
The far end towards Verige, quieter still. The driver follows the road to your house name; give it when you book.
Luggage, steps and late arrivals
Village houses on this shore often sit a few steps above or below the road. The taxi brings you to the road; ask your host about the last stretch if you have heavy bags. A standard car takes two large cases; for a bigger group choose the larger vehicle in the app. Night arrivals from Tivat are routine for MonteGO drivers, and the shore road is empty and pleasant after dark.
Other ways to reach the western shore
A local bus runs along the shore road from Kotor, but not from the airport and not to flight times. Some guests take a taxi to Kotor and a water taxi across to Muo or Prčanj in summer, which is charming but only worth it without luggage. Renting a car is a genuine burden here: the road has almost no parking and most houses have none. A licensed taxi booked in the app, with your house name in the request, is the simplest arrival.
Prčanj and Muo to Tivat Airport
Set the pickup to the hotel forecourt, your house name or the road plus a landmark, and be at the road when the app shows the car close, since there is nowhere for a driver to wait. Schedule the ride in the app the evening before and allow extra margin in summer, when the shore road and the Kotor stretch are slow. After the tunnel the airport is close and check-in is quick.
- Be at the road: drivers cannot wait on the shore road
- Schedule it the evening before
- Extra margin in July and August
